Hi Hog,

I come now with a new question after using your last awesome advice.

I met this girl and I felt we had a good connection. I've been talking to her for about 2 weeks and I wanted to move on into dating her.

I can tell that she's interested in me. And then I discover that she has a boyfriend! <gasp!> I was like "what!...not again!"

Yes, I'm so lucky that I find girls with boyfriends all the time. So my first thought was to simply find another girl because this one was "taken".

However I realized that if she's interested and trying to find out more about me, maybe I could keep on going to see how far I could take it. Even go out if the opportunity comes up.

So should I spend time trying to see how this works out or should I simply move onto another girl?

I mean, I don't want to waste my time and energy into something that probably won't work.

I was thinking so this doesn't happen again that I would ask every girl from now on if she has a boyfriend as a pick up line... nah just kidding!

Yes, you CAN start the conversation by asking if she has a boyfriend!

However be warned that some girls will just say that they DO as a defense mechanism to keep you away. However, if the girl believes that your Awesomeness Level is higher than her own, she will be interested right away.

YOU: Hey babe. You're kinda cute. Are you single?

HER: (looking him over) Um... no. Sorry.

YOU: Did I mention that I ride a motorcycle and own a high-end women's shoe store?

HER: Did I mention that I was lying before? I'm totally single! Does Gucci make high heel motorcycle boots? Take me! Take me on your Harley!

Doing it this way has one big benefit and one big drawback.

The Benefit: You know right away if the girl is interested and available. It can save you time.

The Drawback: If she doesn't know you at all or has no idea of your awesomeness level then she can only guess by going by your looks, confidence, and by the social status you APPEAR to have. So that had ALL better be on point. So the main negative is that you are basically telling her that you're interested in her and thus forcing her to make a decision about you before you can show her how great you are with your conversational skills, your humor, your intelligence, your ability to play the bongos, et cetera.

- Get to the topic to traveling. Ask her where was the last place she traveled to and who did she go with? If she has a boyfriend, he was probably there

- Never spend a lot of time on a girl that you're not crazy about anyway -- especially if she already has a boyfriend. Your time is very valuable -- it can never be replaced! So only give it to those people who are worthy of it!
