My boyfriend and I have been together for a year. But he asked for a time-out!

He means that he won't come to my house but we'll go out and I'm sad because... I don't go out that much.

For some background, I am 19 and a virigin and he is 25 and he's had some sexual experience but he is willing to wait until I am ready.

I don't go out that much because I am a home-body. I almost never leave the house except to go to University. I'd rather stay at home and be close with my mother.

There's a part of me that says, let him go because if he loved you that much he'd accept you. But the bigger part of me says, I love him, I have to try to make it work.

He wants to go out more and I understand that but what really hurts me is that he is willing to end it all over this.

Does he really love me? Maybe I am not that important to him if he is willing to end it over this.

How should I act?

He will have to decide if this issue is worth losing you over.

YOU have to decide if he is worth trying to change yourself for.
