Well I finally did it. At 19 years old, I'm not a little girl any more. I had sex with my boyfriend.

But it happened in my mom's house and she almost caught us.

Now she is super mad and... she's not letting me see him!

This happened last week and since then my mom left us alone again in the house and my boyfriend wanted to have sex but I didn't want to because I don't want to upset my mom. Now my BOYFRIEND is super mad at me! He is ignoring my phone calls. I am scared that I'm going to lose him!

Yeah, no mom wants to see her daughter like, doin'-it and stuff.

A mom's 2 greatest fears...

1 - That she will see her daughter die.

2 - That she will see her daughter sha-boinking! Because this may cause number ONE to happen!

YOUR MOM: I brought you into this world and I can take... you... out!

YOU: Take me out? Like, to dinner?

MOM: Yes, Chinese Take-out. As in Karate chop to the neck! Hi-ya!

YOU: Ow mom! That hurt my throat more than when my boyfriend stuck his...

MOM (covering her ears): LA LA LA!!!

YOU: Oh mom! I was just going to say it hurt my throat more than when my boyfriend stuck his PEN!S down my esophagus.

MOM: Ahhh!!!

YOU: What? You said I should practice safe sex.

MOM: If I know about it, then it's NOT SAFE for you! Now no sex until you're married, for the second time.

If your mom is anywhere near normal, she WILL get over this. Give her some time. She is shocked. It's like she was stuck with a stun gun. Except she wasn't stuck, YOU were. By a stun gun. And by stun gun, I mean a FUN gun. And by fun gun, I mean... a big hairy pistol. And by pistol, I mean a boing-boing-banana. haha

Your mom is realizing that you are not her baby anymore, you are her grown-up daughter. This can be scary for a mom.

THINGS THAT SCARE MOM

- that new internet thing
- that you might make the same mistakes that she did
- that she's getting older and you're getting older and things aren't the same anymore
- any computer game that isn't solitaire

And she's probably scared for you too. She wants you to stay in University and continue reaching for your dreams. She might be scared that you will get pregnant in your female vergerner and not be able to finish school.

Or she might be old-fashioned and really want you to be married before sex, too.

Moms can get nervous for their children. You might have to have a grown-up conversation with her.

Or if you can't do that, write her a grown-up letter. Maybe something really sweet like... "Mom, you really be buggin'. I ain't gonna get pregnant because I always make safe love. In my mouth. And by my mouth, I mean my butt." hahah

No! Say this,

"Mom, you know I love you so much and I'm sorry about what happened. I am embarrassed about what you almost saw, but not about what I did. I love you very much and I appreciate all that you have done for me. I will always be your baby and I will always be here for you.

"I have so much respect for you and I always try my best to live up to your example and your rules.

"I love my boyfriend and I want to be with him and I know you don't want to keep me from being happy.

"But it's hard for me to be happy when you're not happy, too. I promise to follow my dreams and you can feel confident that you have given me good values to choose a good man.

"I am not going away. I love you so much. I hope you can see that."

YOUR MOM: (crying) Yes, I can see that. boo-hoo! And it's OK if you see your boyfriend. But if I ever see what I almost saw you'll be seeing the inside of a coffin. I love you so much! Don't make me kill you!
