For a guy whose career was resurrected solely because of his us (his fans), he couldn't care less about us.

I hate a guy who acts like a pompous ass. Where's his humility? Maybe he thinks he's all-that because he never fully paid his dues. He had a hit show on FOX by age 28. That's talent! Not just anyone can copy The Simpsons!

A big fat idiot dad? Original!

A housewife who puts up with his antics? Original!!

A tiny character who wants to take over the world? Original!!!

A talking dog in a cartoon? Original!!!!

T-shirts with "anti-establishment" slogans? Original!!!!!

A paperback book based on the TV show? Original!!!!!!

Performing a live reading of an episode? Original!!!!!!

Can you PLEASE do something The Simpson haven't done already?! Sorry, I admit, you did do 1 thing. You got cancelled.

Seth did a book/DVD signing to promote the show. Fine. But why do a signing if you hate your fans?

Family Guy makes me laugh. It is funny. But it is a bootleg version of The Simpsons.

I go the signing here in NYC at Best Buy. The Prick walks in with his black-rimmed glasses and black leather jacket and black spiky hair to an hearty ovation from the 100 or so people lined up in the store to see him. He didn't smile. He darted straight to his table.

Come to think of it, why are only 100 people lining up to see him? I expected a line around the block for a chance to meet him. Guess those fans already knew what I was about to learn: Seth MacFarlane is a prick.

It's okay to be a prick to me. Because I wanted something from him. 5 minutes of his time. And I'm a jackass. But don't be a prick to 13 year old boys who love you.

My plan was to say hi to Seth, sincerely compliment him on the return of his show, and hand him my comedy DVD in hopes he would take 5 minutes to look at it. But he refused to even take it! Fine.

Correct way to handle the situation if he didn't want to watch it:

ME: I would be honored if you'd take a look at this DVD when you have time. I think you'll really like it. Thanks.

SETH: Oh hey man, thanks for coming out and buying my book! I'd like to watch the DVD but for legal reasons, I can't take it.

ME: Oh. Okay, cool. Thanks. Good luck with the show!

Wrong way to handle the situation. (This is what was actually said.)

ME: I would be honored if you'd take a look at this DVD when you have time. I think you'll really like it. Thanks.

SETH: No.

ME: (smiling) Maybe you can watch it on your way back in the limo?

SETH: No.

ME: It's funny.

SETH: No. I don't like Britney Spears.

(There was a picture of Britney Spears ripped out from a magazine as the cover art. I put a bubble of her saying something about Family Guy.)

ME: It's ironic, maaaan!

SETH: (half-smile.)

He makes eye-contact for the 1st time, possibly so he can pick me out of a police line-up later on.

SECURITY GUARD: (looks at me hoping I won't make him do his job.)

ME: (muttering) What a prick!

But who cares about me? Let's talk about his real hardcore fans. 13 year old boys. And guys LIKE me with the mentality of a 13 year old boy.

Seth the Prick REFUSED:

- to smile

- make eye contact with any us

- personalize any of the autographs

- sign a child's Family Guy t-shirt

- talk to any of his fans

What a freakin' prick!
