Hello HogWild,

I love your blunt manly approach. So on that note, I have a question:

There is this man who I once dated, now friend from my point of view (my definition of dating is seeing him regularly, being intimate, and communication.)

I told him that I don't consider us dating anymore because we don't see each other as much yet we still communicate almost daily.

However if I ask him to go out to a social function he'll say no, only to ask about how the event went later on.... what is that about?

Yet we can have lunch in a restaurant by his office where his fellow co-workers see us.

Here are some more odd things he does:

During our heavy dating period, he claimed he would cook me breakfast... so I teased him, he still says I'm getting it in time.

He takes my calls, text messages, emails where ever he is.

He calls me by an endearing pet name before ending our conversations.

He will spend 5 hours hiking with me alone and plan other outdoor events for the two of us.

He says his dog and I look good together.

He was offended when I asked for my house keys to be returned.... he claimed I was banishing him from my home. He still has the keys.

He plays with my heart charm bracelet on my arm every time he sees it.

He says I'm crazy sexy.

In a Man's language... what gives with him?

He has a pain in the butt job being on call with crazy hours and he lives an hour away from me.

So please tell me what I'm dealing with here.

What's going on is that you have a man who loves you!

He loves you like I love chicken wings! A LOT!

He loves you like spaghetti loves meatballs!

He loves you like men who own small dogs and wear yellow sweaters over their shoulders... love to brunch.

Love is what you DO. I don't care if he's said it or not. Love lives in ACTIONS. Look at what the man does.

Now, does he love you as just a friend? Or as more?

If he doesn't want to sha-boink you, then it's the Friend Zone. If you tempt him and make yourself available to him... a single, heterosexual man WILL part your thighs and enter the Promised Land. Unless...
