At first, it's easy to be overwhelmed by all the information on dating women.

OK, I gotta dress a certain way, talk another way, keep good posture, let her know I'm independent but still open to love, be well-groomed but not look gay, look happy but not psychopathic, play hard-to-get but easy-to-talk-to, be generous but don't buy her affection, be cool but hot or is it hot but cool? Aaaaaah!

Take one thing at a time. Keep it simple.
