The stories you tell to your PPP's (Potential Porking Partners or Potential Parenting Partners) are not just there for amusement. This other person is reading between the lines to learn more about you.

You may INTEND for the story to be only funny or interesting, but this other person is playing detective and thinking, "What does this story tell me about their personality?"

So be aware! A great story shows off your awesomeness. For guys, it will highlight some attractive qualities such as your protective nature, confidence, generosity, sense of adventure, humor, leadership, courage, how you have your choice of women, your intelligence.

For girls, your stories should highlight beautiful attributes such as your caring nature, sweetness, loyalty, intelligence, softness, friendliness.

And even more importantly... your stories must NOT accidentally convey NEGATIVE qualities like, DISLOYALTY, slut-tastic behavior, a bad attitude, a gossiping nature, a mean spirit, cowardice, superficiality, being too self-centered, jealousy, et cetera. Especially CETERA!!!

So I'm going to give you an example of how to re-write a story you ALREADY HAVE into something that shows off your awesomeness.

This example is from one of my coaching clients. He's given me permission to share the process that we went through together where I helped him craft an event in his life into something a bit more interesting, dramatic, and telling about who he is as a man.

ME: Pick out a story from your life.

HIM: Duh. I can't think of one.

So I suggested the topic of travel since it's a subject that most women enjoy talking about.

HIM: I've only traveled to two places in my whole life.

ME: Was one of them Akron, Ohio? Because then it only counts as one place. No! The point is that you’ve traveled!

HIM: I have 2 or 3 stories of me getting wasted.

ME: Think harder.

HIM: Oh, when I visited Israel, I wanted to buy this menorah that looked like the wailing wall so I wandered off from the group thinking I could catch up. When the guide found me he said we were close to the Golan Heights and there was a good chance I could have been killed. I did buy the menorah though. Victory!

ME: OK, that's a good basis for a story.

HIM: How are you going to turn that into a sense of adventure instead of a sense of stupidity?

ME: Easily! Why did you want the menorah?

HIM: I wanted it because I thought it was unique and really cool. And I wanted to give it to my parents as a gift.

ME: That's great! So you left the group to get it. You basically took a risk for something you really desired.

HIM: Yes.

ME: Perfect. You can naturally bring up this story when you are on the subject of travel. Or you can randomly interrupt her while she's weeping about her dead grandma.

So let's include all the drama and emotions of this story and highlight your awesomeness.

Here's your story:

I love to travel. I wish I could do it more. There was one time I went to Israel and I almost DIED for a menorah.

Then she'll probably ask, "What's a menorah?"

Then you explain, it's a religious candle holder but to me it was also an amazing piece of art and heritage.

And I HAD to have it. This was the trip of a lifetime. This would probably be my only chance to get such a beautiful piece of art from Israel so I kinda left the safety of our group to stay behind at this place to buy it.

I thought I could catch up to them, but I lost the group! Here I am as a teenager, alone. I managed of course, but when I eventually reconnected with them, the group leader said we were in the Golan Heights, which at the time was a highly dangerous war zone. He had this look of fear on his face and warned, I could have been killed!

All because of a candle holder!

But ya know what?

It was worth it.

Then you look deep into her eyes and say,

Because I when I see something I want, I have to have it. And sometimes you find something special that's worth taking a risk for. (Follow that by making deep eye-contact, then licking your lips, flaring your nostrils, and make big eyes at her crotch.) hahaha :)

It was worth it because my parents really liked the gift. And it felt good that instead of buying them a souvenir t-shirt or something, I was lucky enough to find this amazing piece of our heritage.
