How do you handle a dating situation with a drunk girl?

Hey Hog,

I went out for some drinks with a new girl I met. It was not long when we started feeling a buzz.

OBNOXIOUS GIRL: On my last date it wasn't long before I started feeling a buzz... but that's because I went home early to my vibrator! I'd rather entertain myself than be with a guy who only owns one car.

I slowed down and just started drinking water, but she got a little out of control and did not want to slow down. I told her she was too drunk to drive and I wasn't going to let her.

She started acting up about it, saying that she wanted to keep drinking.... blah blah blah... I offered to take her home but she refused.

I had to stall her for almost 2 hours, which turned out good because we got to make out.

HOG: I can imagine this scenario.

YOU: You need to stop drinking, babe.
HER: (super drunk) No! I'm driving home!
YOU: No, you need to sober up. Here, I'll transfer oxygen into your lungs from my tongue.
HER: Whaaa? Why are you kissing me? I want to drive home on my magic donkey.
YOU: You're not making any sense. Now let the oxygen from my tongue sober you up. <SLOPPY KISS>

In the end, she did let me take her home. Did not get to sleep with her, just dropped her off.

The next day she calls me telling me how sorry she was for the way she acted. 

My question is, how do you handle that situation with a drunk girl? Could I have handled it in a different or better way?

SUPER IMPORTANT WARNING: Don’t have sex with girls who are drunk like that. It can only lead to trouble. You're not desperate and a sloppy-drunk girl doesn’t really know what she’s doing to agree to sex.

You did the right thing by not allowing her to drive. That shows leadership. Very manly. Great job. You took care of her.

Some girls will get really embarrassed that they got super drunk around you and not want to see you again because they feel ashamed. Play it down and tell her that her behavior was no big deal — we all drink too much sometimes. Then tell her you liked getting to know her and you want to take her out.

Then ask her out on a date with a specific date, time, and location.

Remind her of your leadership and be that way all the time with her.

HER: I feel so stupid that I acted that way around you.

YOU: It's cool. I'm just glad I didn't let you drive home. I would have felt terrible if you got hurt. Listen, I liked getting to know you. Let's do a more sober version now. haha. I know an AWESOME sushi place. How does Friday night sound?

HER: Oh, sorry I'm already planning to get drunk out of mind on Friday.

YOU: Really?

HER: Just kidding! See I have a sense of humor about myself. Besides, that's what Tuesday mornings are for.

YOU: What? Is that your day off?

HER: No, I teach kindergarten! They know it's silly time when Ms. Becky drinks her grape juice! Hey, do you want some? I hope you don't mind but I've already got it ready for the week so you'll have to sip it out from a straw out of the juice box. Do you want wacky Hawaiian wine or apple pear vodka? In fact, I'm faced right now! Inserting this straw into the juice box gives me an idea.

YOU: Oh man, what was Hog's advice?
